Back in 1980 Playboy did a "Women of The Military" pictorial that had women from all the branches of the military and the one from the Marine Corps ended up getting discharged from the Marine Corps over posing for the pictorial. She was a sergeant as well as I recall. I remember it well because the female Marine was one stationed at 29 Palms MCB,the same one I was at while going to communications tech school, and we used to see her around base. Alas..I was only 17 at the time and a lowly private just out of boot camp so I never had the nerve to approach her ! This is not the first time that something like this has happened.
